About Us
We offer the chance for people of all nations, abilities, religions and ages to volunteer and experience the wonders of Tanzania, East Africa.
Nations Together supports the valuable and long established work of Light In Africa, based in the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. The founder Mama Lynn Elliott from the UK set up the organisation initially to offer a safe haven for children suffering with the HIV /Aids virus.
Nations Together takes the minimum amount of administration costs possible to enable as much project money raised to go to the people it is intended for. As a volunteer you choose the projects you wish to fund, guaranteeing all funds raised are used in the most beneficial way.
You may well learn the valuable lesson of community importance as you watch village elders come together in ancient tribes; or even feed the hungry; clothe the naked; build homes for the homeless; offer pain relief to the suffering; give dignity to those who are ignored and hope to the hopeless.
You may experience humility like you’ve never felt before and feel the rich rewards of helping the neediest on our planet.
