Increasing Access to Education
Education a key component in improving the future of generations to come in Tanzania and Africa as a whole.
If children are able to attend school and gain an education then it can help them to obtain a better, well-paid job and thus break the cycle of poverty they were born into. In turn this then assists in ultimately eliminating the issues that are linked to poverty, such as homelessness, poor sanitation and ill health.
However, before a child can even think about attending school they must buy the correct Tanzanian school uniform. Without this they are turned away from the classroom, their life and financial situations are not taken into consideration.
To you or me accessing a school uniform and school equipment is undoubtedly something we take for granted in the Western world but to Tanzanian children it can be a massive hurdle they must overcome before even thinking about starting to learn.
By providing a child with a full school uniform, shoes, coat, school bag, exercise books, pens and pencils you are empowering that child with the tools to improve his or her future.
